NEW PERKINS CLAIMS PROCESS!
Beginning with the fall of 2010 we will utilize an online claims processing system, IMPACT, for Perkins funded projects. (Technology Centers will be familiar with this process as it mirrors the current IMPACT claims system used by several projects.)
Although the requirements for documentation remain the same as in previous years for everyone, we will no longer accept mailed, faxed, or emailed claims. Look for announcements this fall regarding training.
Things to remember…
• Recipients will continue to submit signed computerized accounting reports each claim.
• Copies of paid invoices for equipment or software in the amount of $250 or more are required with each claim for reimbursement.
MISSING DOCUMENTS WILL RESULT IN THE RETURN OF THE CLAIM AND A POSSIBLE DELAY IN PAYMENT.
The goal of this change is to shorten the time span between filing the claim and receiving payment.
